PALM BAY® INTERNATIONAL Le Blanc de Greysac 2022 BACKGROUND Château Greysac, located in the Médoc hamlet of Begadan, north of St. Estephe, was built in the 1700's. Château Greysac was purchased by Jean Guyon in 2012. Today, the chateau's characteristic style for its Medoc wine is one of great aromatic finesse, combined with precise, sumptuous fruit flavors that develop in elegance and complexity over time. Le Blanc de Greysac is the perfect complement to the Medoc and the special estate-bottled project of proprietor, Jean Guyon. TERROIR & VINTAGE NOTES Following a wet start, 2021 turned out to be a hot and sunny vintage. With warm days and cool nights throughout the harvest season, the wines display an outstanding aromatic character and freshness. The grapes were harvested at night to preserve the freshness of the fruit. The vines, averaging 15 years old, are from carefully selected parcels of clay-limestone soils. WINEMAKING & AGING The grapes were harvested at night to preserve the freshness of the fruit. The wine is vinified in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks and bottled in stelvin closure to preserve its aromatic complexity. TASTING NOTES Perfectly balanced Sauvignon Blanc. Aromatic and vibrant style with limestone, citrus, green apple aromas and a lively acidity.
