The vines are located on the hillsides with soils mainly composed of limestone, sandstone, and marl with a south and southeast exposure; 20% to 30% comes from the Grands Crus of Ribeauvillé. The 2023 winter was dry and mild, followed by a wetter spring. The summer was hot and dry, but some rain helped the vines cope with water stress. The harvest was sunny with cool nights, ideal for the Riesling to ripen beautifully. It's a vintage with freshness and fruitiness. ## WINE M A KI N G & A G I N G The grapes were crushed and delicately pressed in a pneumatic press, then vinied in a dry style in stainless steel vats and old casks. There was no malolactic fermentation or long aging on lees in order to preserve freshness, liveliness and fruity aromas. The wine is bottled in the following spring and ages one year, minimum, in the cellar before release. ## TA S T I N G N O T E S This is the very denition of the Alsace Riesling, well anchored in the dry and balanced Trimbach style. It has aromas of lemon, pear, and tropical fruit with candied orange. It shines with its elegant liveliness, crunchiness, and notes of white owers and citrus fruits leading to a mineral-driven nish. <!-- image --> 375ML <!-- image --> <!-- image --> <!-- image --> <!-- image --> 375ML <!-- image --> 750ML 750ML <!-- image --> <!-- image --> <!-- image --> ORIGIN Alsace AOC, Alsace, France GRA P E VA R I E T I E S 100% Riesling S I Z E S 750ml, 375ml ## T E C H N I C A L D E T A I L S ABV: 13%, TA: 5.77, RS: 1.4, Ph: 3.21, Closure: Cork WINE M A KE R Pierre Trimbach <!-- image -->
