PALM BAY INTERNATIONAL La Petite Perrière Rosé 2024 BACKGROUND In 1790, the Saget family embarked upon a long history dedicated to vines and wine, firmly placing Saget among a handful of estates that enjoy their third successive century of business. Generations have worked to create their signature Saget La Perrière wines - melding the perfect balance of richness and elegance with the meticulous selection of grapes, expertly crafted by skilled winemakers. The new designation of Vin de France offered them the opportunity to explore and discover the ideal balance between the fruitiness of the varieties grown in the south and their freshness when produced in the northern region (Loire). The Vin de France designation is utilized for the entire La Petite Perrière range. La Petite Perrière Rosé is largely sourced from their estate vineyards in Touraine (Loire Valley) and a part of the blend is sourced from the South of France through their long-term partners. TERROIR & VINTAGE NOTES The Pinot Noir grapes are sourced from Touraine in the Loire Valley and blended with grapes sourced from the South of France giving this wine an ideal balance of freshness and fruitiness. WINEMAKING & AGING Mastery of these grape varieties combined with all the facets of their natural character, reveals the grape's full potential. Saget's winemakers set out to conquer France's best Pinot Noirs to make wines with a perfect balance of richness and elegance. Pinot Noir is a fragile grape, producing rosé wines of great finesse. Through the meticulous selection of grapes and the combined skill of the winemakers, one of La Perrière's flagship wines, La Petite Perrière Rosé, was created. TASTING NOTES Bright, pale pink color with light raspberry colored highlights. On the nose there is subtle aromas of raspberry and morello cherry with hints of rose petals. Fresh and lively on the palate with fruity and floral notes and a mineral finish.
